    Not sure the thought bubble is necessary here- Thenurion’s face expresses his suspicion pretty well, and the arrival of what ought to be a rescue ship being followed by the loss of the distress beacon gives him a good reason to be uneasy.

    Either he’s spinning on his way up, or our viewpoint changes by 180 degrees between panels 4 and 5. That second thing is disorienting and counterindicated by most professional comics creators, so for the moment I’m choosing to assume Thenurion flies like a drill bit to get a look at his surroundings.

    Where’s the horizon in panel 5? Or are we next to some serious mountains?

    No, wait- I see it. Wasn’t expecting a brown sky. My bad.
    Also Thenurion can pass through solid matter, making the traditional Superman exit also not incredibly rude. Nice!
